Born and raised in Motown, Cortney "BabyGirl" Hicks, the Midday Host on MAJIC 102.3, knew early on in life that her love of music would lead to a career in the entertainment industry. While attending Michigan State University she took an internship at a local radio station in 1994 that led to a full-time position on the air. Her career has spanned the country, hosting shows in Detroit and Chicago, where, in 2005, she became the first female in Chicago radio history to headline a morning show. Her career has also included radio management, T.V. Reporting. Throughout the years Cortney has and continues to mentor many who have gone on to attain major success in the media industry.
